Why Choose Us

What Makes Wally's
Different

Driving school isn't one-size-fits-all. Here's what sets our approach apart in the Akron area.

State-Certified Instructors

Every instructor is trained and certified to teach Ohio's driving curriculum. You're learning from people who know exactly what the road test requires.

Flexible Scheduling

School, work, family — we get it. We offer evening and weekend lessons so you can train on a schedule that actually works for your life.

Local Road Expertise

We practice on the actual routes your road test may use. From Akron downtown to the suburbs, our instructors know every curve and intersection.

One-on-One Attention

No group sessions where you get lost in the crowd. Every lesson is private, focused entirely on your progress and your goals.

High Pass Rate

Our students consistently pass their road tests on the first try. That's because we prepare you for what the examiner is actually looking for.

Genuine Care

This isn't a franchise. We treat every student like a neighbor — because that's exactly who they are. Your safety and success come first, always.

I was terrified of the road test and my instructor made it so much less stressful. He knew exactly which routes the examiner uses and we practiced them until I felt ready. Passed on the first try!
